Terms of Service

Welcome to WardenWP, a product owned and operated by WardenWP, a Morocco-based sole proprietorship. By accessing or using any part of WardenWP (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Introduction

These Terms govern access to WardenWP, including the marketing site, dashboard, WordPress companion plugin, and related features. By creating an account or using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Services Overview

WardenWP includes:

  • A multi-tenant dashboard to manage WordPress sites for agencies and freelancers.
  • Monitoring for uptime, SSL, security, performance, updates and related site health signals.
  • Automated backups, updates, client reports, team roles and white-label options.
  • AI Site Doctor diagnostics and safe, confirmed remediation workflows.
  • A WordPress companion plugin that connects sites with signed, replay-protected commands.

The Service is provided on a Free plan and paid subscriptions, with plan features and limits as described on the pricing page. WordPress environments differ. We work to keep monitoring and remediation reliable, but we do not guarantee identical results on every host or configuration.

3. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account with email or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated. Notify us promptly if you believe the account has been misused.

Access is organized around organizations. Websites, clients, backups and reports belong to the organization you are acting in. Anyone you invite can access the data permitted by their assigned role.

4. Subscription & Billing

WardenWP subscriptions are managed and processed securely via Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paid plans are billed automatically on the plan you select. Fees are charged in advance. You can cancel at any time from billing settings. Paid access generally remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, then the account returns to Free plan limits unless stated otherwise.

Invoices and receipts are issued by Paddle in accordance with your billing information. We may change plan features or pricing with notice. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Refund eligibility and decisions are determined by Paddle under their terms.

5. Connecting WordPress Sites

Connecting a WordPress site requires installing the companion plugin on that site. Once connected, the Service can read site health information and, where you explicitly request it, perform actions such as updating software, creating or restoring backups, or applying an AI-recommended fix. You are responsible for having the right to install software on and authorize these actions for every site you connect.

6. AI Diagnostics & Automated Actions

Diagnostic summaries and remediation suggestions may be generated with automated and third-party AI systems. They are advisory. State-changing actions are executed only after you explicitly confirm them, and a safety backup is taken first when the action warrants one. We do not guarantee that AI-generated diagnoses are complete or error-free.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use WardenWP only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Access websites you are not authorized to manage.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the platform except as allowed by law.
  • Circumvent plan limits or abuse monitoring, backups, updates or remediation features.
  • Interfere with the Service or attempt to bypass security or tenancy controls.
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or other unlawful material through connected sites.

8. Limits & Fair Use

Each plan comes with defined limits (for example website quotas and feature access). Abuse of these limits or attempts to exploit the system may result in suspension or termination of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and features of WardenWP are owned by WardenWP or our licensors. You may not reuse or redistribute any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

You retain rights to your organization data, client information, and content on connected WordPress sites. You grant us a limited license to host, process and transmit that data solely to operate the Service.

10. Data & Privacy

We collect personal data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers needed to run WardenWP (for example Paddle, Google authentication, hosting, email delivery and AI providers). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Availability & Disclaimer

WardenWP is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we strive to maintain high uptime and performance, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for business losses due to downtime, issues on your WordPress hosts, or data loss outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the system, harm the integrity of the platform, if required by law, or if we discontinue the product. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice where reasonable. Continued use of the Service after changes implies acceptance.
