We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how WardenWP (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our services.

1. Who We Are
WardenWP is a SaaS product developed and operated by WardenWP, a sole proprietorship based in Morocco. We provide a multi-tenant dashboard and WordPress companion plugin so agencies and freelancers can monitor, back up, update, secure and remediate WordPress websites from one place.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following data when you interact with our product:
- Account information — name, email, and login credentials when you sign in with email or Google.
- Organization and client data — organization names, teammate invites, and client records you create.
- Connected-site data — WordPress/PHP/plugin/theme versions and counts, uptime and SSL status, and configuration signals only when you request a scan or diagnostic. The plugin is designed to send versions and aggregate counts, not page content, visitor data, or your site database.
- Backups — encrypted copies of files and/or databases you choose to back up, stored on the configured storage service until they expire or are deleted.
- Payment data — collected and processed securely via Paddle (we do not store card details).
- Usage and audit data — sign-ins and actions in the dashboard used for security, accountability and support.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, and cookies needed to keep you signed in. See the Cookie Policy.
- Support communication — any data you share when contacting support.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide access to your account, organizations, monitoring, backups and remediation tools.
- Ensure proper licensing and subscription usage.
- Run AI diagnostics you request and execute remediation actions you confirm.
- Communicate essential updates, alerts you opted into, and support.
- Improve product experience and security.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies so WardenWP can keep you signed in, protect forms, and complete Google sign-in. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Google and Paddle may set their own cookies when you use sign-in or checkout. Those cookies are governed by their policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and the dashboard from working.
We never sell your personal data or track you across the web for advertising.
5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We only share necessary data with third parties that help us deliver our services:
- Paddle — payment and subscription management (Merchant of Record).
- Google — authentication when you choose to continue with Google.
- Email delivery — transactional email such as password reset, invitations and alerts.
- Hosting, object storage and AI providers — to run the platform, store backups you create, and generate diagnostics you request.
Each partner follows GDPR and other relevant privacy laws where applicable. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the service or other users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data Security
We implement standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS, signed agent communication, encrypted secrets, and organization-scoped access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We keep account and organization data while your account is active. Backups are retained for the period configured by your organization. If you delete your account, we remove associated data unless we must keep records longer to complete billing, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements.
7. Your Rights
- Access or update your personal data in account settings.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Opt out of non-essential product emails where offered.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

WardenWP is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Major changes will be communicated clearly. Continued use of our service after changes implies agreement.
